Tart Apple Crisp

This Tart Apple Crisp is a tart, yet slightly sweet dessert.

The light and buttery crumble topping is sweetened with coconut sugar and makes for a quick and easy end-of-summer treat.

I like to serve with whipped coconut cream -- open a can of coconut milk that has been refrigerated for 2-3 hours prior. Scoop out coconut cream and discard liquid portion. Place coconut cream in a small mixing bowl and whip up with an electric hand mixer.
